I PLACED AN ORDER AND CHOSE “FREE UIC
DELIVERY,” WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PICK
UP MY BOOKS?
You can pick your order up from 10am - 2pm at the beginning
of the semester. Go directly behind BSB (behavioral science
building) to the corner of Vernon Park Pl and look for
the parked CONTI TEXTBOOKS VAN in the cul-de-sac.
If you ordered before 10pm,
we will have your order ready for pick up the next
day during our scheduled delivery time.
If you ordered after 10pm, we will have
your order ready the 2nd day.
EXPLAIN YOUR 2 DAY HOLD POLICY WHEN AN ORDER
IS PLACED?
If you placed an order before
the semester begins, your order will be ready for pick
up at the beginning of the semester.
If you order any day during
the semester, YOU HAVE UNTIL THE END OF THE
2nd DELIVERY DAY TO PICK IT UP.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
All major credit cards, paypal, checks, and cash are accepted.
Credit cards are only accepted online at the time you
place your order. A $35 fee will be assessed for returned
checks.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY AND HOW DO I GET A REFUND?
Returns are only accepted within the first week of the
semester. You must bring your book(s) AND your receipt
to our van during the scheduled delivery time. Refunds
for checks, credit cards, and paypal are issued within
10 business days. Cash is refunded on the spot. The return
policy can be found on your receipt.
I PLACED AN ORDER, HOW DO I CANCEL IT? I PLACED A DUPLICATE
ORDER?
Send us an email as soon as possible giving us your full
name and order number located on your checkout page and
in your confirmation email so that we can cancel the order.
I’M LOOKING FOR A BOOK, BUT I CAN’T FIND
IT?
Use our search option
located on the home page and search using various options
such as the title, author, etc.
You can also check our website daily. Various books are
added on a daily/nightly basis.
THE ISBN OF THE BOOK LISTED DOESN’T MATCH THE ISBN
OF MY SYLLABUS? THE PICTURE OF THE BOOK IS INCORRECT?
That’s ok. The book listed
could have different ISBN’s or we may have uploaded
the wrong picture. Make sure the other information you’re
looking for matches such as title, author, edition, class,
section, call number. Chances are it’s the right
book!
DO YOU CARRY EVERY BOOK USED AT UIC?
We try to carry as many titles as possible; however, we
cannot guarantee we will have all your books.
DO YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL STORE I CAN VISIT?
We currently don’t have a store front you can visit.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER WAS PLACED CORRECTLY? I DID
NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
You will be sent a confirmation
email at the email address provided. If you do not receive
an email, please email us at orders@contitextbooks.com.
If your credit card order was entered but NOT processed
correctly due to an incorrect billing address entered
for example, you still may receive a confirmation email
even though you were not charged. We will also contact
you via phone or email if your credit card order was entered
but not processed correctly.
IS YOUR WEBSITE SECURE FOR CREDIT CARD ORDERS?
We use the latest technology to secure our site and credit
card orders. All customer information is kept private.
I CHOSE TO HAVE MY BOOKS SHIPPED, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE
MY ORDER?
Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days via US postal
service and will be received in 1-2 days if ordered from
the Illinois area. Nationwide orders will be received
in 4-14 days.
I PLACED AN ORDER BUT I WAS NOT CHARGED TAXES?
Taxes are included in the price. We’ll take care
of all that!
