When can I sell my books? Buybacks will be conducted every semester during Finals Week from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Some books may aslo be sold back during our delivery period as well. Where can I sell my books? Conti Textbooks buys books back at our van located on Vernon Park Place behind BSB during the week of Final Exams. Look for the Conti Textbooks Van. How much money will I get back for my books? During our buyback periods, we pay students 50% of the new textbook price until our quotas are met. To get the most money back, students should sell their books back as early as possible the week of Final Exams. What books do you buy back? We currently buy all textbooks from all colleges within UIC. We also buy textbooks from other schools as well as some editions that are "old or out dated" Books damaged beyond a reasonable degree will be refused. Excessive damage such as water damage, missing pages, etc will not be purchased. Books with normal wear and tear such as highlighting, notes, bent corners are acceptable. How do I find out what my book is worth? It's easy! Just bring your book to our Van to check its value. Due to our current business model, we cannot check the value over the phone, over email, or through any other means, however, we may implement these options in the near future.
